Kút.museum shop
Kút.museum shop is the museum store and bookstore of the Bratislava City Museum. It gets its name from its location in a cozy corner of the Old Town Hall courtyard. We created it with the idea of connecting the bookstore with local art and bringing it into a pleasant urban space where you can slow down for a moment in the shade of the arcades, browse through books, and discover local design.
The museum shop’s selection naturally reflects the museum’s mission and focus. Here you’ll find publications produced by the MMB, a carefully curated selection of books on the city, architecture, culture, and history, as well as children’s literature and Slovak works in English. The selection is complemented by original museum merchandise and design items from local brands that share a connection to Bratislava, its visual culture, and contemporary life. So, in addition to a memento, you can take home a valuable book or a souvenir with a story from Kút.
An important part of Kút is its playful interior designed by the DIAGRAM studio. With clean-lined shelves, comfortable seating, and a striking counter that resembles a gift, it creates a space that will make you want to stay with us a little longer. For us, Kút is a way to be an open, accessible institution and maintain daily contact with our audience.
