Cultural Bridges Across the Morava River

As part of the cross-border project Culture Across – Cultural Bridges Across the Morava River, co-financed by the Interreg Slovakia–Austria Cooperation Programme, Bratislava City Museum and the Municipality of Marchegg are working together to preserve their cultural heritage and raise public awareness of significant cultural monuments on both sides of the border.

This cooperation will help increase the region’s tourism potential and enhance the attractiveness of the entire border region in the heart of Central Europe (Marchfeld – Záhorie – Bratislava).

The project includes the restoration and renovation of historic buildings and structures within the grounds of Marchegg Castle and Devín Castle, a National Cultural Monument.

The project also involves the exchange of professional knowledge and expertise in the field of culture and the development of cooperation between primary schools.
