hmmm: The Memification of Bratislava's History

Can Bratislava’s history be explained through memes? In this workshop, we’ll explore the city’s history as well as its everyday absurdities and turn them into our own internet memes. Using analog meme templates, collages, and humor, we’ll see what happens when historical stories meet contemporary internet language. Can the past also be surprisingly relevant today?

Free admission.

The event is part of Student Welcome Week at Nová tržnica.

The event is organized in partnership with the Bratislava Youth Platform, the City of Bratislava, and Student Welcome Week.
