Old Town Hall




The old Town Hall is one of the oldest secular buildings of Bratislava and thanks to its unique architecture it is a valuable exhibition item in itself. It was created by connecting several buildings together over the course of seven centuries. Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque will catch your attention not only with the unique façade, but also with to rich painted decoration of historical interiors dating back from the Middle Ages to the 19th century, which can see and enjoy.
In addition, you can find there a permanent exhibition where historical events and period objects will tell you more about the life of Bratislava inhabitants from the Modern Era until the present day. In the Old Town Hall, it is also possible to visit city dungeons and regularly changing thematic exhibitions. Unmistakable tower, as a part of the complex, will offer you a view of the historical core of the city.
