Mgr. Nina de Gelder

Nina de Gelder works as a Project Coordinator at the Bratislava City Museum, where she oversees the content and quality of strategic and cross-border projects and contributes to the development of international cooperation and partnerships. Her work connects project development with the wider institutional and international context of the museum.

She has over two decades of professional experience in culture, education, international cooperation and project management. She spent more than ten years at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, where she later served as Vice-Rector for International Relations. She represented the institution in international networks such as ELIA and Cumulus and focused on developing strategic partnerships and international cooperation. She later worked as Executive Director of A4 – Space for Contemporary Culture in Bratislava and served on the board of Antena, a national network of independent cultural organisations.

Alongside her work at the museum, she collaborates with the international animation festival Fest Anča, where she coordinates the professional Student Forum connecting European film schools, students and educators. She also has experience as an Erasmus+ project assessor in the field of higher education.

Her academic background combines humanities and international relations. She holds a Master’s degree in Aesthetics and English Language and Literature from Comenius University in Bratislava and has completed a specialised programme in International Relations and Diplomacy, focusing on public and international law, global governance and international cooperation.
