Red Crayfish Pharmacy

The renovated Red Crayfish Pharmacy offers a unique combination of historic atmosphere and contemporary use. The preserved Baroque interior recalls the building’s original function as a pharmacy, while the restored spaces now also serve visitors and smaller events.

The pharmacy is located in a late Baroque burgher house built on the site of the former moat of the city fortifications. The building still incorporates a reconstructed medieval barbican, originally an important defensive element of the city walls.
