Ancient Gerulata

What is Ancient Gerulata and what was life like there? Through group work, pupils will explore the history of the Romans in Slovakia and discover information about the life of a Roman soldier, the construction and reconstruction of the Gerulata camp, the civilian population and crafts, as well as Roman burial customs and their deities. Together, we will also take a look at a virtual model of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Ancient Gerulata is open seasonally from April to October. In April and October, from Thursday to Sunday; from May to September, every day except Monday. The earliest admission is at 10.00 am.
