The Battle That Changed Our History: Mohács and Bratislava

August marked the 500th anniversary of one of the most significant military confrontations in our history—the Battle of Mohács. Historians Štefan Hrivňák and Roman Mocpajchel, author of the book *Mohács 1526: The Battle That Changed Central Europe*, will discuss its causes, course, and major political and social consequences.
They will also discuss how the events of 1526 influenced Bratislava and its position within Hungary. The book will be available for purchase at a discounted price, and attendees will have the opportunity to have it signed by the authors.
Admission is free.
The event will take place in the courtyard of the Old Town Hall
The event's partners are the Mamaš publishing house and Myslím, a nonprofit organization—the Cultural Center for the Deaf.
The event will be interpreted into Slovak Sign Language. Please ensure that people with hearing impairments have a clear view of the interpreter.
